LOCATION
Radiant City Church is planting roots in the heart of University City, MO—a vibrant and strategic community that reflects the beautiful diversity of the Kingdom of God. Known for its rich blend of cultures, generations, and economic backgrounds, University City offers a unique opportunity to build a church that looks like heaven: multi-generational, multi-cultural, and multi-economic. This is more than a neighborhood—it's a place of influence, shaping arts, education, business, and thought throughout the greater St. Louis area.
By planting in University City, we are stepping into the crossroads of legacy and innovation, where families, students, creatives, and professionals converge. Our vision is to be radiant light in this city—a church that hosts the presence of God, contends in prayer, and reflects the glory of God to the hurting and broken.
THE DELMAR DIVIDE
Radiant City Church is intentionally planting near the Delmar Divide—a historically significant line in St. Louis that has long symbolized racial and economic separation. North of Delmar Boulevard, predominantly Black neighborhoods face higher poverty rates, underinvestment, and limited access to resources, while just south, predominantly white neighborhoods enjoy greater affluence and opportunity. This stark contrast has made Delmar one of the most visible urban divides in America. Yet, we believe this is precisely where the Church must rise. Our vision is to place an altar to the Lord on this dividing line, not just physically but spiritually—to invite the presence of God into a space marked by division and see it transformed by His glory. We long to be a people who embody His reconciling love, hosting His presence in a way that brings healing, restoration, and unity to communities long separated by history, policy, and pain. Radiant City exists to reflect His glory into the very places that need it most—and the Delmar Divide is not just our location; it’s our mission field.
